SOMETIMES, as you may have observed, things come to pass in a mysterious wheels-within-wheels kind of way. Take the case of Kay Medford, now enjoying the life of a budding star in Hollywood. Kay herself would tell you that she owes it all to a strange chain of events set in motion by astrology, speeded up by columnist Irving Hoffman and brought to a smashing finale by Henderson and Shaw, the writer-photographer team who produced the picture story, Star Merchants.
